Warum nicht! Kurz vorab, das Reiseland tut in diesem Bericht vielleicht nicht so viel zur Sache, aber meine 15 Tage im Iran mit dem Ziel an Kriegswracks im persischen Golf zu tauchen, waren unvergleichlich gut. Als Unterwasser-Verr\u00fcckter hat man nat\u00fcrlich ein besonderes Interesse an dem ganzen Plastik-Wahnsinn und einen starken Bezug dazu, wenn man diese Plastikflut schon selbst erlebt hat. Durch das Mantahari Projekt ist f\u00fcr mich das Thema Mikroplastik besonders relevant, da es ein riesen Problem f\u00fcr Mantarochen darstellt. Mantas filtern Plankton aus dem Wasser und haben keine M\u00f6glichkeit die mikroskopisch kleinen Mikroplastik Partikel zu umgehen. Wie man sich vielleicht denken kann, haben diese Kleinst-Teilchen leider sehr gro\u00dfe Auswirkungen auf die gesamte Spezies und das gesamte \u00d6kosystem.<\/p>\n<p>Doch erstmal ein paar Grundlagen:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Plastikm\u00fcll<\/strong> landet auf verschiedensten Wegen im Ozean. Schlechtes Abfallmanagement, ungereinigte Abw\u00e4sser von St\u00e4dten, verlorene Ladungen auf hoher See, illegale Entsorgungen und so weiter. Die Plastikverschmutzung in den Weltmeeren r\u00fcckt immer mehr in die \u00d6ffentlichkeit, viel zu sp\u00e4t aber wohl besser als nie. Die ber\u00fchmten \u201eGarbage Patches\u201c, wie zum Beispiel der Nordpazifische Wirbel laufen in den Medien rauf und runter, sie sind ja auch erschreckend\u2026 Plastikansammlungen auf Fl\u00e4chen 4x gr\u00f6\u00dfer als Deutschland und einem Gewicht von knapp 80.000 Tonnen direkt an der Oberfl\u00e4che (Quelle: Zeit online). Umso erschreckender ist der Fakt, dass Plastik an der Oberfl\u00e4che nur einen kleinen Bruchteil (zwischen 1% und 15%) der Gesamtmasse ausmacht. Der Gro\u00dfteil sinkt in die pelagischen Schichten ab und ist praktisch unerreichbar.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mikroplastik<\/strong> ist laut Definition ein Kunststoffpartikel kleiner als 5mm, der auf verschiedene Weisen entstehen kann. Sogenanntes <u>sekund\u00e4res Mikroplastik<\/u> entsteht durch den Zerfall gr\u00f6\u00dferer Plastikteile und wird nach und nach unter anderem durch Wind, Wellen, Reibung und Sonneneinstrahlung in kleinere Teile zersetzt. UV-Licht gelangt nur bis zu einer Tiefe von ca. 50 Metern, in tieferen Schichten findet die weitere Zerkleinerung durch Reibung &amp; Wellenenergie statt. Ganz weg ist Plastik jedoch <u>nie<\/u>, was ein unfassbarer Fakt ist, wenn man sich mal vor Augen f\u00fchrt, was jeder von uns in seinem Alltag f\u00fcr Unmengen von Plastikm\u00fcll produziert. Es ist <u>alles<\/u> noch da, nur eben nicht in unserem Umfeld, sondern in kleinste mikroskopische Partikel zerlegt irgendwo in den Weltmeeren. Wer jetzt argumentieren m\u00f6chte, dass wir Deutschen ja recyclen und unser M\u00fcll damit ja nichts zu tun hat\u2026 dar\u00fcber wird es nochmal einen Blog geben. Ein kleiner Teaser: Ca. 80% unseres Plastikm\u00fclls wird \u201erecycled\u201c in fern\u00f6stliche L\u00e4nder exportiert. Was dort mit unserem M\u00fcll passiert, steht auf einem ganz anderen Blatt.<\/p>\n<p>Doch zur\u00fcck zum Thema:<br \/>\nDas sogenannte <u>prim\u00e4re Mikroplastik<\/u> landet schon in kleinsten Bestandteilen im Ozean und gelangt \u00fcber Industrieabf\u00e4lle auf direktem Weg oder auf unauff\u00e4llige aber verheerende Wege unmittelbar aus unserem Haushalt in die Weltmeere. So landen beispielsweise kleinste Plastikpartikel aus jedem Waschgang mit Bekleidung wie Funktionsstoff oder Fleece im Abwasser und finden final ihren Weg \u00fcber unsere westliche und entwickelte Abwasserlandschaft in das gro\u00dfe finale Sammelbecken Ozean. Filtersysteme f\u00fcr diese kleinen Partikel gibt es mehrheitlich nicht und die Flut h\u00f6rt nicht auf, vor allem weil dem Gro\u00dfteil dieses Problem gar nicht bewusst ist. Erste Hilfe im kleinen Stil kann hier beispielsweise ein Waschbeutel schaffen, der diese Mikroplastikteile aufnimmt, wie zum Beispiel der \u201eGuppyfriend Washing Bag\u201c (<a href=\"https:\/\/re-athlete.de\/collections\/equipment\/products\/guppyfriend-washing-bag\">https:\/\/re-athlete.de\/collections\/equipment\/products\/guppyfriend-washing-bag<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Eine weitere Quelle von prim\u00e4rem Mikroplastik sind Duschgels, Shampoos und Kosmetik Artikel. Es ist in vielen Produkten als sogenannte \u201eSchleifpartikel\u201c eingearbeitet, f\u00fcr Peeling- oder Massageeffekte. Diese Kunststoffteilchen landen nach dem kurzweiligen \u201eGenuss\u201c im Abwasser und finden den gleichen Weg, wie die Fleece Fasern aus der Waschmaschine. In BIO Qualit\u00e4t und komplett vegan kommt der Duschbrocken auch ohne Palm\u00f6l aus und enth\u00e4lt auch bei Verpackung und Versand \u00fcberhaupt kein Plastik. Find ich extrem gut. Ich habe mich vor der Reise f\u00fcr das Modell \u201eMaxi Minz\u201c entschieden und hab ihn mit meinen wichtigsten und wertvollsten Reiseutensilien ins Handgep\u00e4ck gelegt, weil\u2026 na weil ich es darf ? Der Brocken ist wie der Name schon sagt keine Fl\u00fcssigkeit und kann daher bei Fl\u00fcgen einfach im Handgep\u00e4ck transportiert werden, was bei Fl\u00fcgen mit nur Handgep\u00e4ck schonmal genial ist.<\/p>\n<p><img class=\" wp-image-948 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/mantahari.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Produktbild-Duschbrocken.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"384\" height=\"384\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wp.mantahari.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Produktbild-Duschbrocken.jpg 550w, https:\/\/wp.mantahari.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Produktbild-Duschbrocken-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/wp.mantahari.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Produktbild-Duschbrocken-100x100.jpg 100w, https:\/\/wp.mantahari.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Produktbild-Duschbrocken-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/wp.mantahari.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Produktbild-Duschbrocken-256x256.jpg 256w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 384px) 100vw, 384px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Im Iran habe ich meinen Duschbrocken t\u00e4glich benutzt und war von Anfang an \u00fcberzeugt vom \u201eHandling\u201c. Er gibt eine ganze menge Schaum, ist super ergiebig und riecht einfach gut! Mein iranischer Kumpel war auch gleich ein begeisterter Nutzer und schw\u00e4rmte davon, wie gut die Haare danach riechen und wie gut sie sich anf\u00fchlen. Ob das am hautneutralen PH-Wert von 5,5 liegt wei\u00df ich nicht, ich bin ja kein Chemiker ?. Meine Bedenken, dass die Duschgel &amp; Shampoo Kombination vielleicht Schw\u00e4chen haben w\u00fcrde, waren aber offensichtlich unbegr\u00fcndet. Das Hostel war voll ausgebucht, acht Doppelzimmer mit ausschlie\u00dflich iranischen Touristen und der Familie selbst macht ca. 20 Personen und eine Dusche. Davor hatte ich mit dem Duschbrocken ungef\u00e4hr f\u00fcnf Mal geduscht und keinen \u201eSchwund\u201c bemerkt, nach zwei Tagen in der Gemeinschaftsdusche war er dann aber schon etwas angeschmolzen ? Als reine Vorsichtsma\u00dfname habe ich den Brocken gebrochen um sicher zu stellen, dass ich f\u00fcr den Rest meiner Reise noch was \u00fcbrig habe, das war wohl auch gut so. Am Ende der sechs Tagen auf Hormuz war von dem Brocken nicht mehr viel \u00fcber und es lag ein sanfter Duft von Minze im Gemeinschaftsraum. Bei der \u00e4lteren Dame, die das Hostel betreibt war die minzige Note unter dem Kopftuch besonders deutlich zu vernehmen, Maxi Minz \u00fcberzeugt also auch iranische Insulaner ? Jetzt wei\u00df ich nat\u00fcrlich nicht, wie viele Personen sechs Tage lang mit der H\u00e4lfte meines Duschbrockens geduscht haben, ich sch\u00e4tze man bekommt in Summe aber deutlich \u00fcber 50 Schaum-G\u00e4nge raus.<\/p>\n<p>F\u00fcr mich ist es also klar: Ein regional und nachhaltig hergestelltes Produkt mit allen Anforderungen, die man selbst als Voll-\u00d6ko so stellen k\u00f6nnte (oder als Plastik-Nerd). Kein Plastik, kein Mikroplastik. Super ergiebig, riecht gut, f\u00fchlt sich gut an und ist durch Verpackung, Form und Gr\u00f6\u00dfe ein idealer Reisebegleiter.
