Unmengen an Einwegplastikflaschen verm\u00fcllen unseren Planeten. Doch es ist nicht aussichtslos: Wir k\u00f6nnen der Plastikflaschenflut entgegenzuwirken: Es gibt verschiedene Wege, in ganz unterschiedlichen Lebenssituationen auf sie zu verzichten.<\/em><\/span><\/h6>\n

Wasser ist Leben.<\/strong><\/em> Diese Tatsache ist so alt wie das Leben selbst. W\u00e4hrend unsere Vorfahren f\u00fcr sauberes Wasser noch weite Wegstrecken hinter sich bringen oder in den Hof zum Brunnen gehen mussten, haben wir es hier in Deutschland heute unfassbar einfach: Fast \u00fcberall man das Wasser aus der Leitung trinken. Ein Handgriff \u2013 oder besser gesagt, ein Hahngriff \u2013 ist also genug, um das wichtigste Gut des Lebens zu bekommen.<\/span><\/div>\n
Dennoch: Laut der Deutschen Umwelthilfe verbraucht die Menschheit 16,4 Milliarden Einweg-Plastikflaschen im Jahr<\/em><\/strong>. Eine Zahl, die zu hoch ist, um sich wirklich etwas darunter vorstellen zu k\u00f6nnen (Quelle Deutsche Umwelthilfe<\/a>).\u00a0Um es greifbarer zu machen: Rund 200 Plastikflaschen, die jede*r Deutsche j\u00e4hrlich nutzt, nur um sie kurz darauf wieder in den M\u00fcll wandern zu lassen.<\/span><\/div>\n

Klingt frustrierend? Stimmt! Aber: Es gibt L\u00f6sungen, wie wir diese unvorstellbare Menge an Plastikm\u00fcll verringern k\u00f6nnen. Unterschiedliche Lebenssituationen erfordern unterschiedliche Ma\u00dfnahmen. Drei dieser Ma\u00dfnahmen sind so einfach wie praktisch und sie verhindern, dass noch mehr Mikroplastik in unsere Gew\u00e4sser und Meere gelangt.<\/span><\/div>\n

1. Bring your own bottle: Die eigene Trinkflasche<\/strong><\/span><\/h6>\n<\/div>\n
Der wahrscheinlich einfachste Weg, Einweg-Plastikflaschen zu vermeiden, sind Mehrweg-Trinkflaschen<\/strong><\/em>. Damit sind aber keine Mehrwegflaschen aus Plastik aus dem Supermarktregal gemeint, sondern Flaschen, die wir selbst bef\u00fcllen k\u00f6nnen. Es gibt sie aus verschiedenen \u00d6ko-Materialien, etwa aus Edelstahl oder Glas, wie zum Beispiel die Mantahari Beachbreak Bottle<\/a>. Sie hat wie viele nachhaltige Flaschen auch eine Thermoskannenfunktion. Das hei\u00dft, Kaffee und Tee bleiben darin lange warm und auch kalte Getr\u00e4nke halten sogar Eisw\u00fcrfel \u00fcber den ganzen Tag. Wichtig daran ist: Diese Flaschen schmei\u00dfen wir nicht weg, nachdem wir sie einmal genutzt haben. Wir k\u00f6nnen sie immer wieder verwenden und dadurch sowohl der Natur als auch unserem Geldbeutel etwas Gutes tun. Denn auf Dauer l\u00e4ppern sich die paar Cent pro gekaufte Einweg-Plastikflasche durchaus. Also: Besorgt euch eine eigene Trinkflasche, die ihr \u00fcberall mit hinnehmen und wieder auff\u00fcllen k\u00f6nnt \u2013 ganz ohne Einwegplastik.<\/span><\/div>\n

2. Filtersysteme: Unterwegs in der Natur ohne Plastik<\/strong><\/h6>\n
Die Outdoor-Fans unter uns stehen immer mal wieder vor einem Problem: Wer mehr als ein paar Stunden in der Natur verbringt, braucht irgendwie Zugang zu sauberem Trinkwasser. Etwa im Gebirge. \u201eDas gibt\u2019s doch da \u00fcberall\u201c, werden jetzt viele denken. Aber gerade im stark landwirtschaftlich genutzten Alpenraum muss man aufpassen: Besonders in der N\u00e4he von Kuhweiden, die ja in den Alpen weit verbreitet sind und auch in gro\u00dfe H\u00f6hen reichen, ist es nicht ganz ungef\u00e4hrlich, das Wasser aus Gebirgsb\u00e4chen zu trinken. Denn es ist oftmals kontaminiert durch tierische Ausscheidungen, die sich im Grundwasser ansammeln. Viele eigene Wasserflaschen mitzunehmen, ist in Hinblick auf M\u00fcll und Gewicht nicht praktikabel. Auch beim Reisen in Gegenden, in denen das Wasser aus der Leitung nicht trinkbar ist, st\u00f6\u00dft man schnell auf das Problem, dass man am Ende Einweg-Plastikflaschen kaufen muss. Was also tun?<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Es gibt zwei einfache L\u00f6sungen<\/strong>, um unterwegs sauberes Wasser zu garantieren. In beiden F\u00e4llen geht es um das Filtern von sch\u00e4dlichen Partikeln und Bakterien aus dem Wasser. Einerseits ist das mit Filtertabletten<\/strong> m\u00f6glich. Einfach Wasser aus einem Bach, Fluss oder See in die mitgebrachte Mehrwegflasche f\u00fcllen, eine Tablette hinzugeben, einige Minuten warten und schon ist das Wasser trinkbar. Das gilt \u00fcbrigens auch f\u00fcr Wasser aus der Leitung in Gegenden, in denen es Bakterien gibt, an die der eigene Magen nicht unbedingt gew\u00f6hnt ist. Diese Tabletten gibt es in Apotheken und Outdoor-Gesch\u00e4ften zu kaufen.<\/span><\/div>\n

Die andere Variante ist, das Wasser durch einen Filter<\/strong> zu pressen, der die sch\u00e4dlichen Bakterien zur\u00fcckh\u00e4lt. Dabei schraubt man einen Filter entweder direkt auf eine Flasche (je nachdem, ob das System mit der eigenen Flasche kompatibel ist oder nicht) oder auf einen (leider aus Plastik bestehenden) Beutel, der aber immer wieder verwendet werden kann. Das gefilterte Wasser kann entweder direkt \u00fcber den Filteraufsatz getrunken werden oder nochmal in die eigene Flasche gef\u00fcllt werden. Ein solches Filtersystem gibt es zum Beispiel von Sawyer<\/a>. Eine Alternative ist der Steripen<\/a>, der mithilfe von UV-Licht das Wasser entkeimt.<\/span><\/div>\n

Besonders auf Reisen im Ausland sind diese Filter im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes Gold wert: Wir k\u00f6nnen viel Geld sparen, wenn wir nicht immer wieder Einwegflaschen kaufen m\u00fcssen. Und andererseits bedeutet das jedes Mal, wenn man einen Filter oder eine Filtertablette nutzt, dass eine Einwegflasche weniger genutzt wird \u2013 die Erde dankt es uns.<\/span><\/div>\n

3. Spritzmittel f\u00fcr Zuhause<\/strong><\/span><\/h6>\n<\/div>\n
Nun gibt es unter uns ja auch Menschen, die Sprudelwasser lieben. Besonders in Deutschland ist die Rate sehr hoch: 2015 lag der Pro-Kopf-Verbrauch von Mineralwasser bei 144 Litern pro Jahr (Quelle: Spiegel<\/a>). Viele Menschen kaufen ihr Sprudelwasser direkt im Supermarkt \u2013 oftmals in pfandfreien Plastikflaschen. F\u00fcr diejenigen, die auf Blubberblasen im Trinkglas stehen, aber f\u00fcr weniger Plastik auf unserem Planeten sorgen wollen, gibt es den Soda-Streamer<\/a>. Fr\u00fcher gab es den in ziemlich h\u00e4sslichen und klobigen Plastikflaschen in vielen Haushalten zu finden. Heute ist der Sodastreamer schick und plastikfrei, mit Flaschen aus Glas.<\/span><\/div>\n

Es gibt also M\u00f6glichkeiten, immer etwas zu trinken dabeizuhaben und sich gleichzeitig gegen den Plastikwahnsinn zur Wehr zu setzen. Ob in der Uni, bei der Arbeit oder auf einer Reise \u2013 eigene Mehrwegflaschen und Wasserfilter machen das Leben leichter und sagen Einwegplastikflaschen den Kampf an. Und wer auf das kribbelnde Gef\u00fchl im Bauchnabel steht, kann sich ganz einfach zuhause Sprudelwasser machen. Das nervige Kastenschleppen ist damit auch Geschichte.<\/span><\/div>\n

Auch wenn der Weg in eine plastikfreie Welt ein langer ist – jeder Schritt z\u00e4hlt und jede*r kann etwas ver\u00e4ndern. <\/span>Jede Plastikflasche, die nicht gekauft wird und somit nicht in den Wasserkreislauf eintritt, ist ein Schritt in die Richtige Richtung!<\/span><\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n
